Import Existing Project

Bring your existing project into Prompt To App and let the AI adapt it to our infrastructure.

How It Works​

  1. Click the Import button in the chat interface
  2. Upload your project as a ZIP file (max 300MB)
  3. Your project is imported into our environment
  4. Click Adapt Project in the chat area — the AI will adapt your code to our infrastructure
  5. From there, chat with the AI to make any further modifications

What Gets Imported​

  • All source files (HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, React, etc.)
  • Assets (images, fonts, icons)
  • Configuration files
  • Package dependencies

After Import​

Once the AI has adapted your project, you can:

  • Add new features via chat
  • Integrate services (Supabase, Stripe, etc.)
  • Modify any component
  • Publish to your free .prompttoapp.dev subdomain or a custom domain
  • Export to GitHub

Limitations​

  • Maximum project size: 300MB
  • Projects requiring a running backend server may need additional adaptation
  • Ask the AI if you're unsure about compatibility
